Metode Role Playing dalam Pembelajaran Profesi Kependidikan

Abstract


This study aims to evaluate the influence of the role playing method on student learning outcomes and activities. This research was conducted on the students of English Education Study Program of Indraprasta PGRI University in the first semester used Classroom Action Research (PTK) method, which was consisted of 65 students. Data collected techniques used observation and evaluation. The results showed that the role playing method gave a significant influence in the lecturing education proffesion subject. In other words, the student’s learning outcomes and activity were increasing. These results can be seen from each cycle, 72% for the first cycle and 86% for the second cycle.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh yang diberikan dari metode role playing pada proses pembelajaran profesi kependidikan dilihat, dari hasil pembelajaran yang dicapai serta keaktifan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Indraprasta PGRI semester I (satu) dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berjumlah 65 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitiani ini adalah observasi dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode role playing memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dalam proses perkuliahan profesi kependidikan. Dengan kata lain, keaktifan dan hasil belajar mahasiswa meningkat saat diterapkan metode ini. Hasil ini terlihat pada capaian yang ditempuh pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus I tingkat pencapaian belajar mahasiswa mencapai 72% dan pada siklus II mencapai 86%.
