1.2.1.05 Jobseeker payment (JSP) - description
What is JSP?
JSP is the working age payment that replaced NSA from 20 March 2020.
JSP is an income assistance payment that supplies monetary support to individuals aged 22 years to age pension age who have capability to work now or in the near future and prepared to satisfy mutual responsibility requirements.
JSP will include gain access to for individuals who have momentarily stopped working or studying to recuperate from an illness or injury but who work or study to return to. When the incapacity ends, and unless exempted from mutual obligations requirements (3.11.5), a recipient should:

Recipients getting JSP MAY also get several of the following as part of their JSP rate:

- authorized program of work supplement (1.2.7.180).
They MAY likewise be entitled to the following while in receipt of JSP:

LLNS (1.2.7.110) if carrying out training through the Skills for Education and Employment Program.
Bereavement payment arrangements
