PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract


The purpose of this research was knowing the influence of TPS model in improve activities and result students learning by using design pretest-posttest equivalent. The sample of this research were the students at VIIG and VIIH by random sampling. A qualitative data was learning activity and it got by observation. A quantitative data was the result of student learning which obtained from the average score of pretest, posttest, and N-gain. The research result of students learning activity from the whole aspects of student’s ability were the asking question aspect score, answering question, and giving opinion was average of high criterion. The result of students learning has increased with the average score of  N-gain (57.27). Thus, it can be concluded that TPS  model has a increased activities and result students learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran TPS dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan desain pretes postes ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIG dan VIIH yang dipilih dari populasi secara random sampling. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian aktivitas belajar dari aspek kemampuan siswa dalam bertanya, menjawab pertanyaan, dan mengemukakan pendapat berkriteria tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain (57,27). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran TPS berpengaruh  dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
