Abstract

This  research  uses the  methods  of  PTK research  cycle  that  each  cycle consisting  of  four  phases:  planning,  implementation,  observation  and  reflection. activity  data were collected  through observation and test questions.  Analysis  of the data using qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
Based on the results of the study indicate that the use of cooperative learning model of the type of think pair share in the fourth (IV) grade math SDN 4 north metro could  increase  the  activity  and  student  learning  outcomes  is  the  percentage  of  the average activity of the first cycle students (38.18%) second cycle (59,78%), and cycle III (84.69%). while mastery learning outcomes for students in the first cycle there are 10  students  (34.48)  achieved  mastery  learning,  on  the  second  cycle  there  are  18 students  (62.06%)  and  for  the  third  cycle  increased  to  26  students  (89.65%).  if calculated using t-test test by 5% confidence level (dk): n-1 and n = 29 was found to be 2.048 results obtained in  the  first  cycle  and 4.45 tcount>  ttable 2.048  t-test  and test cycles II and III obtained 6 tcount> ttable 2,048 thus Ho rejected and Ha accepted
