PEMETAAN SEBARAN DAN ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN GURU GEOGRAFI SMA NEGERI DI WILAYAH KABUPATEN LAMPUNG BARAT, PROVINSI LAMPUNG

Abstract

This study aims to assess the distribution mapping and analysis needs SMAN geography teacher at West Lampung regency in Lampung province. This research uses descriptive method. SMA research object distribution locations and Geography teacher needs and qualifications of teachers. Collecting data through observation, documentation of data, interviews. The results showed that the distribution of SMAN locations in the region centered on two districts, namely Liwa and Tenong Way. However, his students spread relatively evenly, which is between 26 to 34 students per class with a total average of 29.5 (30) students per class. The number of teachers of geography as much as 17 people and not spread evenly, no teacher in SMAN 8 and 9 teachers Liwa spread Tenong Way. The average number of hours of teachers at post 13 hours/week. Of the number of teachers that are present, still in need 9 geography teacher again that can be raised gradually at the time of acceptance CPNS in the region.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang pemetaan sebaran dan analisis kebutuhan guru geografi SMAN di wilayah Kabupaten Lampung Barat di Propinsi Lampung. Objek penelitiannya sebaran lokasi SMA dan kebutuhan guru Geografi dan kualifikasi guru. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, data dokumentasi, wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebaran lokasi SMAN di wilayah tersebut terpusat pada 2 kecamatan, yaitu Liwa dan Way Tenong. Namun, persebaran muridnya relatif merata, yaitu antara 26 sampai 34 siswa per kelas dengan total jumlah rerata 29,5 (30) siswa per kelas. Jumlah guru geografi sebanyak 17 orang dan tidak tersebar merata,8 guru ada di SMAN Liwa dan 9 Guru tersebar di Way Tenong. Rata-rata jumlah jam guru di tempat tugasnya 13 jam/minggu. Dari jumlah guru yang ada sekarang, masih di butuhkan 9 guru geografi lagi yang dapat diangkat secara bertahap pada saat penerimaan CPNS di wilayah tersebut.
