PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN JERODL E.KEMP PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Education is a necessity that must be fulfilled in the course of life, as education involves changing the attitudes and behaviors of individuals or groups in the process of maturing human beings through teaching and training efforts. The success or failure of achieving educational goals largely depends on the learning process experienced by students, including the educator's accuracy in selecting the appropriate learning model. This research aims to determine the improvement in learning motivation by applying the E. Kemp learning model to third-grade students at SDN 018443 Asahan. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of this study show an increase in student learning motivation after the implementation of the Jerold E. Kemp model. In the first cycle, there was an increase in motivation with an average score of 3.20, interpreted as moderately motivated. In the second cycle, there was a further increase, with an average score of 4.21, interpreted as motivated.
