If you don't configure the Enable internet search in Copilot policy, internet search is readily available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Permit the use of additional optional linked experiences in Office policy to Handicapped.

If you formerly selected 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and also untreated the 'Enable individuals to be asked whether they wish to pin it' option, your setup setup is 'Do not pin' and your users still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigating bar.
