If you don't configure the Permit web search in Copilot plan, internet search is offered to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you establish the Permit the use of extra optional connected experiences in Workplace plan to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Expectation for the majority of users that are qualified for Copilot Chat throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also alter the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for individuals in Microsoft Teams via the Groups admin center: Appoint an app setup plan with Copilot Chat in the pinned apps to users with an Entra account.

The Permit internet search in copilot client portal login policy also permits you to handle internet look for individuals with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
