If you don't configure the Permit internet search in Copilot plan, web search is available to individuals by default in both Microsoft 365 copilot student login and Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Allow the usage of extra optional connected experiences in Office policy to Handicapped.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Teams, and Expectation for the majority of users who are eligible for Copilot Conversation across the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.
