If you do not set up the Allow web search in Copilot policy, web search is readily available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Permit the usage of added optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Groups, and Expectation for most individuals who are eligible for co pilot or copilot Conversation across the internet, mobile, and desktop.
