If you don't set up the Permit internet search in Copilot policy, internet search is available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Permit the use of extra optional linked experiences in Workplace plan to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Overview for a lot of customers who are eligible for Copilot Chat across the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly picked 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigating bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and additionally uncontrolled the 'Enable users to be asked whether they intend to pin it' alternative, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your customers still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigating bar.
