If you do not configure the Permit internet search in Copilot plan, internet search is offered to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Allow the usage of additional optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Handicapped.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Overview for many customers who are qualified for Copilot Conversation across the web, mobile, and desktop.

If you previously picked 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and additionally uncontrolled the 'Enable users to be asked whether they wish to pin it' alternative, your setup arrangement is 'Do not pin' and your customers still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.
