If you don't set up the Allow web search in copilot app login policy, web search is available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you establish the Permit the usage of additional optional linked experiences in Workplace plan to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Teams, and Overview for the majority of users that are eligible for Copilot Conversation throughout the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly selected 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin center and likewise unchecked the 'Allow individuals to be asked whether they wish to pin it' option, your setting configuration is 'Do not pin' and your users still will not have Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.
