If you do not set up the Allow web search in Copilot policy, internet search is readily available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Enable the use of additional optional linked experiences in Office policy to Handicapped.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Outlook for the majority of customers that are eligible for Copilot Conversation across the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly selected 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigating bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and also unchecked the 'Permit users to be asked whether they want to pin it' option, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your individuals still won't have copilot client portal reviews pinned in their navigation bar.

The Allow web search in Copilot policy likewise allows you to manage web search for customers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot permit.
