If you do not set up the Enable web search in Copilot plan, internet search is available to individuals by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Allow the usage of added optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Groups, and Overview for the majority of users who are qualified for Copilot Conversation throughout the web, mobile, and desktop.
