If you don't set up the Permit web search in Copilot policy, internet search is readily available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 copilot client portal app and Copilot Conversation, unless you establish the Enable the use of additional optional connected experiences in Office plan to Impaired.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Overview for the majority of users that are eligible for Copilot Chat across the web, mobile, and desktop.

If you previously chose 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and also unchecked the 'Enable users to be asked whether they want to pin it' choice, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your customers still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigating bar.

The Enable internet search in Copilot plan also enables you to handle web look for customers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot permit. To make sure people throughout your company have easy accessibility to Copilot Conversation and can gain from its protection and experience updates, we recommend that your customers have Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat pinned to their navigation bar.
