If you don't set up the Permit internet search in Copilot policy, web search is offered to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Enable the usage of additional optional linked experiences in Workplace plan to Impaired.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Overview for a lot of individuals who are qualified for Copilot Conversation across the web, mobile, and desktop computer.
