PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstract


This quasi experimental research aims to know the influence of cooperative learning model of talking stick type toward student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The design research is post-test only control group design. The population of this research is seventh grade students in even semester of Junior High School State I Bukit Kemuning in Academic Years 2012/2013, that is consist of six classes. The samples of this research are VII.3 and VII.4 that is obtained by using purposive random sampling. The collecting data technique is by using test. Based on analysis data result, it is obtained the average of value of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding using cooperative learning model of talking stick type is greater than using konventional learning. Thus cooperative learning model of talking stick type have influence of toward student’s mathematical conceptual understanding, study on student of Junior High School State I Bukit Kemuning in Academic Year 2012/2013.
