KONTRIBUSI POWER TUNGKAI,LENGAN, DAN KELENTUKAN TOGOK DENGAN KECEPATAN RENANG GAYA BEBAS

This study aimed to determine the contribution of leg power, arm power and togok flexibility to swimming freestyle speed. The methodology used was descriptive correlational method. Population of this study were 71 students. Data were analyzed by using multiple regression. The results showed that leg power has a correlation coefficient 0.301 with a contribution of 30.1%, a power arm has a correlation coefficient of 0.468 with a contribution of 46.8%, togok flexibility have a correlation coefficient of 0.188 with a contribution of 18.8%, while the power limbs, arm power and flexibility togok have a correlation coefficient of 0.562 with a contribution of 56.2%. From the result of analysis it can be concluded that the power arm was make greater contributions to the freestyle swimming speed compared with other variables.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi power tungkai, power lengan dan kelentukan togok terhadap kecepatan renang gaya bebas. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian ini berjumlah 71 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa power tungkai memiliki koefisien korelasi 0,301 dengan kontribusi sebesar 30,1%, power lengan memiliki koefisien korelasi 0,468 dengan kontribusi sebesar 46,8%, kelentukan togok memiliki koefisien korelasi 0,188 dengan kontribusi sebesar 18,8%, sedangkan power tungkai, power lengan dan kelentukan togok memiliki koefisien korelasi 0,562 dengan kontribusi sebesar 56,2%. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa power lengan memberikan kontribusi lebih besar terhadap kecepatan renang gaya bebas dibandingkan dengan variabel lainnya.
