Model Pembelajaran Obak (Observasi, Berpikir Analisis, Dan Komunikasi) Sebagai Alternatif Model Pembelajaran Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Analisis
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explain the rationale for developing the OBAK model; explain the syntax of the OBAK model; and explain the advantages and disadvantages of the OBAK model hypothetically. It is necessary to develop a learning model that is thought to be able to solve the problem of learning Cell Biology. The learning model should meet the criteria, namely being able to provide a stimulus for students' analytical thinking, and being able to provide students' communication skills. The criteria refer to the source of the problem resulting from reflection and interviews. There is no existing learning model that meets these criteria. The learning model that will be developed is a learning model that aims to train students in simple inquiry, process information through observation skills, and develop analytical thinking skills. This model is named OBAK which stands for Observation, Analytical Thinking, and Communication.
Tujuan tulisan ini adalah menjelaskan dasar pemikiran pengembangan model OBAK; menjelaskan sintak model OBAK; dan menjelaskan kelebihan dan kekurangan model OBAK secara hipotetik. Perlu dikembangkan suatu model pembelajaran yang diduga mampu memecahkan masalah pembelajaran Biologi Sel. Model pembelajaran tersebut hendaknya memenuhi kriteria yakni mampu memberikan stimulus berpikir analisis mahasiswa, dan mampu memberikan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa. Kriterianya ini merujuk pada sumber masalah hasil refleksi dan wawancara. Model pembelajaran yang ada sekarang belum ada yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Model pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan adalah model pembelajaran yang bertujuan melatih inkuiri sederhana bagi mahasiswa, memproses informasi melalui keterampilan observasi, mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir analisis. Model ini diberi nama OBAK kependekan dari Observasi, Berpikir Analisis, dan Komunikasi.
