Pengembangan Multimedia Berbasis Science Technology Society dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu

Abstract


The main purpose of this research are 1) to produce a mutltimedia based on Science Technology Society (STS), 2) to describe the ease, the utility and the attractivity of an interactive multimedia based on STS , 3 ) to know the efectivity of the multimedia in a learning process. The research and the collection was done at SD IT Bustanul Ulum and SD IT Insan Kamil by using observation, a survey, a test and an interview. Then the data of research analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research uses the R and D by Borg and Gall. The results showed that attraction of the multimedia based on STS is categorized very interesting with the average score 4,39. The effectivity of product also indicating that the multi media based on STS is categorized effective with the average gain 0,49 for SD IT Bustanul Ulum student grade four and 0,40 for SD IT Insan Kamil student grade four.

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) Menghasilkan produk multimedia berbasis Science Technology Society (STS), 2). Mendekripsikan tentang kemudahan, kemanfaatan dan kemenarikan multimedia. 3) Mengetahui keefektivitasan multimedia dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian dan pengumpulan data dilakukan di SD IT Bustanul Ulum dan SD IT Insan Kamil melalui observasi, angket, tes dan wawancara. Selanjutnya data dianalisis secara kuantatitif dan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan oleh Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya tarik multimedia berbasis STS pada peserta didik SD terkategori sangat menarik dengan skor daya tarik rata-rata 4,39. Efktivitas produk juga menunjukkan bahwa multimedia berbasis STS yang diujicobakan dalam penelitian ini terkategori efektif dengan rata-rata gain pada siswa kelas IV SD IT Bustanul Ulum 0,49 dan 0,40 pada siswa kelas IV SD IT Insan Kamil.
