PENERAPAN STRATEGI INKUIRI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA DALAM MEMBANGUN PEMAHAMAN SEJARAH INTELEKTUAL

Abstract


Inquiry learning approach toward students’ ability in building an intellectual history comprehension was an experimental study majoring in History Education, Lampung University. This study aimed to determine the effect of inquiry and conventional learning approache toward students' ability in building an intellectual history comprehension.The experiment was took the second semester students of History Education, FKIP Lampung University which consisted of experimental and control class. This study used experimental method with factorial design 2 x 2. The ability to build an intellectual history comprehension, a researcher used an objective test at the end of the experimental study. Validity test of learning result instrument used Point biserial, and reliability test used KR-20. Data analysis techniques used two way ANOVA. Normality test used Liliefors’ formula and homogeneity test used Bartlett test. The result of the tests proved that reasearh population had normal distribution and data of students’ ability in building an intellectual history comprehension taken from used learning approach had various homogeny pupoulation. The result of the study concluded that there is difference of learning result between students taught by inquiry and conventional approach.
