PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH SISWA

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to find out whether cooperative learning can influence the learning output on history subject for students at X, academic year 2012/2013 and to find out to what extend cooperative learning influences the learning output on History subject for students at X, academic year 2012/2013. The research method applied experimental research using (nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The results revealed that : 1) There was an influence on learning output of experimental group using cooperative learning that the mean score of pre test was 82.94; while the control group using discussion method got 78.82 for their pre test score; 2) There was gain of mean score between experimental and control group, it was 4.12; 3) That cooperative learning influences the learning output on history subject for students at X₂ grade through experimental method.

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penerapan model Cooperative Learning terhadap hasil belajar sejarah dan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh penerapan model cooperative learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas X di SMA Budaya Bandar Lampung Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretes-postes grup kontrol tidak secara random (nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Hasil belajar yang menggunakan model Cooperative Learning kelas eksperimen berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dan memiliki rata – rata nilai pre test sebesar 82,94 sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan metode diskusi memiliki rata – rata nilai pre test sebesar 78,82. 2) Terdapat perbedaaan nilai rata–rata hasil belajar  pada kelas eksperimen  dengan kelas kontrol, besarnya perbedaan adalah 4,12. 3) model cooperative learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas X₂ melalui metode eksperimen.
