Abstract


This research is very unique because it discusses bilingualism in Bugis, Javanese, Lombok, Makassar, Toraja, Balinese and Indonesian which has never been researched before. This study aims to obtain This research is very unique because it discusses bilingualism in Bugis, Javanese, Lombok, Makassar, Toraja, Balinese and Indonesian which has never been researched before. This study aims to obtain information about bilingualism which is influenced by the surrounding environment. In addition to knowing the factors and influences early childhood can be faster or slower in mastering two or more languages. The source of the research data came from the early childhood transmigration village of Mamuju district. In this study using descriptive qualitative research methods with direct interview techniques on children. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out in sequence, namely: (1) identifying the child's language, (2) reducing data, (3) presenting data, (4) interpreting data, (5) concluding the interpretation results. The results of this study found the acquisition of bilingualism in early childhood, namely the first language mastered by children in the Transmigration village was Indonesian and their respective regional languages. There are also those whose first is first language is Indonesian, the children in the Transmigration village can use their own regional language and can even understand the local languages of other ethnic groups, although they are still.Key Words:Acquisition of Bilingualism, Bilingualism, Environmental Influence, Factors
