PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL

Abstract

The research problem was the low learning outcomes of Social Sciences at fifth grade students of SDN 3 Gedung Air. This study aimed to determine the effect of applying inquiry learning method on learning outcomes of Social Sciences. This experimental research was in the form of pretest posttest control group design. The subjects were all students of class V and 33 students used as the sample study . The results of simple linear regression analysis of the data showed that there was an effect between the implementation of inquiry learning method on learning outcomes of Social Sciences at 0.680 and the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.462. And generate t count was 5.167 and t table at 5% significance level of 2.040. This indicated that the value of t count was 5.167> t table = 2.040. It can be concluded that there was significant implementation of inquiry learning method on learning outcomes Social Sciences fifth grade students of SDN 3 Gedung Air.

Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas V SDN 3 Gedung Air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian experimen berupa control group pretest posttest. Subyek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang sekaligus dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Hasil analisis data regresi linier sederhana ada pengaruh antara penerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial sebesar 0,680 dan harga koefisien determinasi (r²) sebesar 0,462. Dan menghasilkan t_hitung sebesar 5,167 dan t_tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar 2,040. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai t_hitung=5,167> t_tabel = 2,040. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas V SDN 3 Gedung Air.
