PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MELALUI PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION

Abstract

The research objective was to increase the activities and student learning outcomes through the implementation of realistic mathematics education approach. This type of research was a classrom action research with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrumen is of data collection used observation sheets and tests. Data were analyzed by using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results showed that aplication of realistic mathematics education approach can increase the activities and student learning outcomes, it can be seen from the average activities in cycle I was 61.48% and cycle II was 77.39% increased by 15.91%. The average value of affective cycle I was 60.12 and cycle II was 78.52 increase 18.41. The average value of psychomotor cycle I was 62.05 and cycle II was 76.14 increase 14.09. The average value of the cognitive cycle I of was 68.64 and cycle II was 75.45 increase 6.81. Mastery learning students cognitive cycle I were 13 students 59.09% in the second cycle to 18 students 81.82% increase 22.73%.

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan realistic mathematics education. Metode penelitian adalah tindakan kelas dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan pendekatan realistic mathematics education dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa terlihat dari Rata-rata aktivitas siklus I 61,48% dan Siklus II 77,39% meningkat 15,91%. Rata-rata nilai afektif siklus I 60,12 dan siklus II 78,52 meningkat 18,41. Rata-rata nilai psikomotor siklus I 62,05 dan siklus II 76,14 meningkat 14,09. Rata-rata nilai kognitif siklus I 68,64 dan siklus II sebesar 75,45 meningkat 6,81. Ketuntasan belajar kognitif siswa siklus I sebanyak 13 siswa 59,09% pada siklus II menjadi 18 siswa 81,82% meningkat 22,73%.
