PEMBELAJARAN ILMIAH BAGI ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract


This study aimed to examined the influences of scientific approach based learning through problem based learning model for early childhood problem-solving skills and to find the differences of early childhood problem solving skill before and after scientific approach based learning been applied. The reasearch was conducted at Al-Kautsar Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung. The reasearch method was conducted with quasy experiment. The reasearch subject were 32 early childhood aged 5-6 year old, which was carried out through simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by using observation and documentation. Instrument was used observation sheet with an assesment rubric rating scale. The data was analyzed by using t-test examination and simple linear regression test. The result showed that there was a significant differences of early childhood problem solving skill before and after scientific approach based learning been applied. It can be concluded that scientific approach based learning has an influences toward early childhood problem solving skills by 77,8%.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah (scientific approach) melalui model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini serta perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan yaitu melalui pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitan yang digunakan ialah quasi eksperimen, dengan subjek penelitian 32 anak. Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data diambil melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah lembar observasi berupa rubrik penilaian jenis rating scale. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t test dan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan SPSS 17 for Windows. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah. Artinya pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini sebesar 77,8%.
