ANALISIS SELF-EFFICACY BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES KONTEKSTUAL
Abstract
This naturalistic qualitative research aimed to analyze students critical thinking self-efficacy in Socrates Contextual Learning. The subjects of this research were students of VIIB class of SMP 19 Bandarlampung in even semester, academic years of 2014/2015, which were consisted of 27 students and it was focused on 8 students, who had high, middle, and low levels of critical thinking self-efficacy, which were obtained by purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were obtained by student's journal, observation recording, critical thinking self-efficacy scale, interview, and documentation. The data analysis of this research used three stages, that were reducting, displaying, and getting conclusion of data. Based on the analysis of data, it was concluded that the critical thinking self-efficacy which appeared dominantly in Socrates Contextual Learning is magnitude dimension.
Penelitian kualitatif naturalistik ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis self-efficacy berpikir kritis siswa dengan Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, yang terdiri dari 27 siswa yang difokuskan terhadap delapan siswa yang memiliki self-efficacy berpikir kritis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah, yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui jurnal siswa, catatan lapangan, skala self-efficacy berpikir kritis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga langkah, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa self-efficacy berpikir kritis yang dominan muncul pada Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual adalah dimensi magnitude.
