EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstract


This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of numbered heads together type viewed by students understanding of mathematical concepts. The design whichwas used in this research was one shot case study with the population was all students of grade seventh of State Junior High School 1 Rumbia Lampung Tengah in academic year of 2014/2015 and the samplewas students of VII.8 class that was chosen by purposive random sampling technique. The data of students understanding of mathematical concepts were obtained by essay test. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model of numbered heads together type was effective viewed by students understanding of mathematical concepts.

Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one shot case study denganpopulasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Rumbia Lampung Tengah tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.8 yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.
