Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Investigasi Kelompok Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa

Abstract


This quasi-experimental research aims to know the influence of group investigation learning method towards student’s mathematics problem solving ability. The populations in this research are all students in 8th Grade of SMPN 1 Pringsewu in the academic year 2012/2013, consisting of 196 students which distributed to five classes with the average of value cognitive ability was 67,24. The sample of this research are two classes from five classes that choosed by purposive sampling technique. The design research is posttest only control grup design. The data research were gotten through test of problem solving ability. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that group investigation learning method influences towards student’s mathematics problem solving ability.
