PENALARAN KREATIF SISWA DENGAN TIPE CREATIVE SELF EFFICACY DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH KONTEKSTUAL

Abstract


The understanding concept in mathematics learning is very necessary for students, it is related to the reasoning behind the concepts used. The right reasoning for students is creative reasoning. So that the researcher describes creative reasoning with this type of creative self-efficacy because of the condition of students in general who are not sure of their ability to do math problems, so students who have high self-efficacy have not met the indicators of creative reasoning. This article aims to describe the creative reasoning of students with a creative self-efficacy type in solving contextual problems. This type of research is qualitative research and the method used in this study is a case study. The subjects in this study were 2 students of class X MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Tulungagung. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, test questions, and interviews. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The test result is analyzed based on elements of creative reasoning. The result of case studies shows that students’ creative self-efficacy type of creative reasoning can meet the elements of creative reasoning based on mathematical foundation and plausibility.

Abstrak

Memahami kosep dalam pembelajaran matematika sangat diperlukan oleh siswa. Hal tersebut, berkaitan dengan penalaran konsep yang digunakan. Penalaran yang tepat untuk siswa yaitu penalaran kreatif. Sehingga peneliti mendeskripsikan penalaran kreatif dengan tipe creative self efficacy ini karena kondisi siswa secara umum yang kurang yakin akan kemampuan dirinya dalam mengerjakan soal matematika, sehingga siswa yang memiliki self efficacy tinggi belum memenuhi indikator penalaran kreatif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penalaran kreatif siswa dengan tipe creative self efficacy dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 siswa kelas X MIPA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Tulungagung. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket, soal tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil tes dianalisis berdasarkan unsur penalaran kreatif. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa penalaran kreatif siswa tipe creative self efficacy dapat memenuhi unsur penalaran kreatif berdasarkan matematika (mathematical foundation), dan masuk akal (plausibility).
