PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS

Abstract


This is a quasi experimental research which aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model-group investigation type toward student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics. Posttest only control design was used in this research. The population was all of eighth grade students in Al Azhar 3 junior high school, Bandarlampung, school year 2012/2013. Sample of this research was student of VIIIB and VIIIC class that was determined by purposive random sampling technique. The data research was quantitative data that was acquired by student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics test. Based on data analysis, it is conclude that group investigation-learning model affect student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics.
