Abstract

Abstract

Laboratories and practical equipment are essential facilities in education, supporting the learning process in schools. As facilitators, teachers need to find solutions to ensure optimal learning, one of which is by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT). As a starting point, on August 21, 2023, a technical guidance activity was conducted involving 21 high school physics teachers in Lampung. The objective of this activity is to enhance teachers' abilities in designing, developing, and implementing physics experiments using Android smartphones. This method requires teachers to have both theoretical and practical insights into high school physics experiments based on Android. Evaluation of teachers' understanding and knowledge was carried out using a test instrument developed by the community service team, consisting of 19 multiple-choice questions. The results show an improvement in the understanding and knowledge of high school physics teachers regarding Android-based applications for experiments. Additionally, the majority of teachers (99%) plan to continue integrating Android-based physics experiments into their teaching, indicating that this application is considered highly beneficial and has the potential to motivate students.
