THE IMPROVEMENT OF SKILLS IN GIVING SIMPLE EXPLANATIONS AND MENTIONING EXAMPLES IN SOLUBILITY AND SOLUBILITY PRODUCT THROUGH ADVANCE ORGANIZER LEARNING MODEL

Abstract


The objective of this research was to describe effectiveness of advance organizer learning model in improving students’ skills of giving simple explanations and mentioning examples in solubility and solubility product materials. Subjects in this research were all students in classroom XI IPA3 in State Senior High School 7 in Bandar Lampung. This research used pre-experiment method with One-group Pretest-posttest design.  The research of this research showed that n-gain average values of skills in giving simple explanations and mentioning examples were 0.71 (high category) and 0.58 (middle category). Based on these n-gain average values, the advance organizerlearning model was effective in improving skills in giving simple explanations and mentioning examples.
