Eksplorasi Budaya Repong Damar Dalam Ranah Geografi Perilaku (Studi Fenomenologi Pada Masyarakat Krui)

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji makna repong damar melalui pendekatan fenomenologi dan proses penerimaan dalam masyarakat Krui. Tahap pengungkapan makna dan penerimaan dilakukan dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan analisis dengan pendekatan induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Krui memaknai repong damar sebagai: konservasi hutan, sumber pendapatan, dan simbol status sosial. Proses penerimaan repong damar dilakukan dalam tiga ranah, yaitu: kognitif: masyarakat menerima informasi bahwa getah pohon damar memiliki harga jual yang tinggi di pasar lokal dan internasional, afektif: masyarakat mulai membahas tentang budidaya pohon damar di kawasan hutan tanpa merubah fungsinya, dan psikomotor: merupakan tahap penerimaan budidaya pohon damar dengan terus mengembangkan gagasan dalam proses pengelolaannya. Oleh karena itu, repong damar merupakan budidaya pohon damar yang dilakukan di dalam kawasan hutan produksi tanpa mengubah fungsi hutan dan membantu penyelamatan hutan untuk masa depan.
