EFEK TINDAK TUTUR TERHADAP ELEKTABILITAS DIRI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA
Abstract
This study examines the role of speech acts in increasing students' electability during the classroom learning process. A student's electability depends not only on his or her knowledge, but also on his or her ability to communicate effectively through speech acts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research analyzes conversations between lecturers and students or students with other students in lectures at the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, University of Lampung. The data were collected through conversations and analyzed using relevant speech act theories. The results show that appropriate speech acts, such as the use of subtle commands or praise, can increase students' interest and participation and create a conducive learning atmosphere. Conversely, inappropriate speech acts can reduce the instructor's electability and hinder the achievement of learning goals. This study highlights the importance of understanding and using effective speech acts to improve the quality of learning and the interpersonal relationships between instructors and students.
