PENGGUNAAN MEDIA LEMBAR KERJA SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PERKALIAN DAN PEMBAGIAN BILANGAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

The aim of this research is to improve the students’ activities and result assessment in learning mathematics through student’s work-sheet media and cooperative learning. The subjects of this three-cycle classroom action research were student’s of Class 6 of SD Negeri 6 West-Metro.

The data collection technique is based on the type of data as desired. Data collection tool to describe the ability of students is the task and assessment, while for collecting data about student attitudes toward learning experiences used the questionnaire sheet.

Learning outcomes with student work sheets media in each cycle showed an increase of 87.5% completeness; 87,5% (cycle 2) and 93,75% (cycle 3), student attitude towards learning that is conducive to show improvement and democratic nature of the next  cycle to cycle, as seen through the participation of students in group discussion, with the spread in cycle 1 showed 19% excellent, 44% good, 30% quite good, and 7% unfavorable. Result of cycle 2 showed that 50% good but there still 3% unfavorable. While in the third cycle student attitude is 55% good. Means that there is an effort to minimize the obstacles in improving student activities in each cycle undertaken.
