EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstract


This quasi-experimental research aims for knowing the effectiveness of the imple-mentation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with convensional learning towards student’s mathematical conceptual  understanding. The research design is posttets only control group design. The research population  was all student of 7th grade class even semester of SMPN 22 Bandar  Lampung academic year 2012/2013 and the sample of this research are class VII-C and VII-D that choosen randomly from seven classes. Based on the data analysis, it is found that student’s mathematical conceptual understanding avera-ge and student’s learning completeness in cooperative learning model type TGT is higher than conventional learning. The conclusion is cooperative learning model type  TGT is more effective than conventiona learning towards student’s mathe-matical conceptual  understanding.
