The Influence of Think Pair Share Model Towards Student’s Mathematical Concept Comprehension

Abstract


This experimental research aimed to know the Influence of Think Pair Share model towards student’s mathematical concept comprehension. The population of this research was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Natar in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 300 students that distributed into 11 classes. The sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII A as many as 25 students and VIII B as many as 30 students as samples. The design was the randomized pretest-posttest control grup design. The data in this researh were obtained by mathematical concept comprehension test.The data analysis of this research used  t-test.Based on the result of research, it was concluded Think Pair Share model have an effecton based on students conceptual understanding of mathematics.
