Pengaruh Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share Terhadap Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa

Abstract


This research aimed to find out the influence of cooperative learning of think pair share type towards students mathematical representations skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of MTs Guppi in Banjit which was distributed into 6 classes, the samples were students of VIII E and VIII F class which were chosen by purposive sampling. The instrument of this research was essay test of mathematical representation skill. Design of research was used pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis of the research used t-test. This research concluded that cooperative learning of think pair share type influenced students mathematical representations skill.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Guppi Banjit yang terdistribusi dalam 6 kelas, dengan sampel yaitu siswa kelas VIII E dan VIII F yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes kemampuan representasi matematis berbentuk essay. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji-t. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.
