PERBANDINGAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS TERPADU MENGGUNAKAN MODEL NHT DAN MAKE A MATCH

Abstract

This research is a comparative experiment with an approach that aims to identify differences in learning outcomes IPS Integrated using NHT and Make a Match. The study population was the entire eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Way Kenanga Academic Year 2014/2015 amounted to 83 students. Samples were students of class VIII A and VIII B amounted to 56 students who are determined by cluster random sampling technique. The results showed: (1) the average of the results attitude domain of Integrated Social learning in students who use NHT higher than the Make a Match; (2) the average of the results cognitive domain of Integrated Social learning in students who use NHT higher than the Make a Match; (3) the average of the results skill domain of Integrated Social learning in students who use NHT higher than the Make a Match.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan komparatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS Terpadu menggunakan NHTdan Make a Macth dalam ranah sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Way Kenanga Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 berjumlah 83 siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B berjumlah 56 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar IPS Terpadu ranah sikap siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan NHT lebih tinggi dibandingkan Make a Macth; (2) rata-rata hasil belajar IPS Terpadu ranah pengetahuan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan NHT lebih tinggi dibandingkan Make a Macth; (3) rata-rata hasil belajar IPS Terpadu ranah keterampilan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan NHT lebih tinggi dibandingkan Make a Macth.
