PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING SISWA KELAS IX

Abstract


The problem of this research is how to increase the writing ability through Problem Based Learning in Class IX SMP N 4 Metro.The objective of this research is to describe the writing process and the writing ability through Problem Based Learning Model. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive through classroom action research ( CAR ) in three cycles. The objects of this research is the students of class IX A SMP N 4 Metro. The result of this research shows that the passing grade of writing in the first cycle is 66,67 %, the second cycle is 72,73 % and the third cycle is 90,48 %. The conclusion of this research is improving the writing ability through Problem Based Learning of the students in class IX SMP N 4 Metro had been increased.

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan menulis melalui model Problem Based Learning siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Metro. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menulis dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Metode penelitiannya, deskriptif kualitatif melalui penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Objek penelitian siswa kelas IX A SMP Negeri 4 Metro. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ketuntasan belajar menulis pada siklus satu 66,67%, siklus dua 72,73%, dan siklus tiga 90,48%. Simpulan penelitian, peningkatan kemampuan menulis melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Metro ini mengalami peningkatan.
